JVA recently designed a 6-acre mixed-use project located at the corner of 30th Street and Pearl Parkway in Boulder. The project was an infill redevelopment, which included public and private roadways, a woonerf, rain gardens, permeable pavers, a pedestrian bridge and extensive plazas and patios. The project was also impacted by a floodplain which required a unique approach to addressing life safety concerns, while still accommodating the overall design approach.
