By committing to this work, JVA aims to promote justice, create an inclusive work environment, and help improve our communities. We encourage all underrepresented individuals to apply for employment opportunities within the firm.
Employee Resource Groups
The JVA LGBTQ+ group serves to recognize and enhance diversity and inclusivity for the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Non-Binary communities and allies. This group contributes towards our common vision for a workplace where gender expression/identity and sexual orientation is respected and celebrated.
Women’s+ Impact Network
JVA’s Women’s+ Impact Network (WIN) is an Employee Resource Group with a mission to empower JVA employees to become leaders and champions in the industry. This is done by facilitating professional growth and reducing gender bias through education, mentorship, visibility, accountability, and engagement to enhance JVA’s strong and cohesive culture.
The JVA Young Professionals (YP) group serves as a resource to empower and support the growth and success of young professionals and works to establish relationships between young professionals and senior staff. This group is comprised of young professionals from all departments and offices and is designed to bring the young professionals of JVA together to build relationships, share resources, and encourage each other.
JVA’s Global Engineering Committee (GEC) was founded to help provide engineering solutions for global communities in need. The GEC’s mission is to empower local and global communities by developing sustainable engineering solutions that promote access to clean water, sanitation, and other basic human rights. To help achieve these goals, the GEC has three subcommittees: college mentorship, domestic efforts, and global efforts.
