JVA was the civil and structural engineer for the Boulder community civic center development. JVA produced the engineering site development master plans for the entire Boulder Civic Area and construction plans for the catalyst phase of the project, including utilities infrastructure, streets, earthwork and drainage. This project redeveloped the park between 9th and Broadway and between Canyon Boulevard and Arapahoe Avenue. The goal of this project was to transform the underutilized park into a place with activities and programming to better serve the community. Complex floodplain modeling and permitting support was required.
