Project Description

JVA was the civil and structural engineer for the 225 acre Philip Miller Park in the Town of Castle Rock. The park includes a 60,000 square feet field house with related parking, two synthetic sport fields, extensive trail network, water play feature, amphitheater, and events building. JVA designed the grading and drainage, extensive utility infrastructure, and improvement to two large drainage channels utilizing natural crescent-shape drop structures to simulate natural stream flows. JVA designed the widening of Plum Creek Parkway improved to accommodate left and right turn lanes at the park entrance.
