JVA was the civil engineer for the Boulder Valley School District’s replacement of natural turf fields at three middle schools with multi-use synthetic turf fields and with running tracks. This fast-paced design project included coordination with three separate municipalities, Xcel Energy, fiber optic utility providers, and the various interested stakeholders involved in the redevelopment of these fields. The turf fields were designed to minimize stormwater runoff and maximize playability.
