A new courthouse was constructed to serve Huerfano County. JVA provided civil and structural engineering services for the project. The new facility was constructed within a public roadway and required rerouting of existing utilities and careful consideration of existing traffic patterns, drainage criteria, and close coordination with stakeholders. The facility also interfaced with the existing county jail and required unique design solutions to provide the functionality desired by the Owner.
