This project consisted of the adaptive re-use and addition of a 1930’s concrete building. The steel framed additions on the north and south sides matched the low floor-to-floor height of the existing building while meeting strict lab vibration criteria and accommodating mechanical systems. The 2x wood decking removed from the original gable roof was milled and re-used as a wall covering in lobby areas. JVA also performed civil engineering for this project
