JVA, Inc. is pleased to announce Derek Pedersen, PE has been promoted to Officer with the title of Vice President and Structural Principal.
Derek has been with the JVA Structural team in the Boulder office since 2000 and has completed the design of multiple healthcare, education, municipal, and commercial projects throughout the country.
Derek has over 22 years of experience as a consultant in the construction industry leading JVA into the adoption and development of Revit Structure and BIM practices. Derek will assist JVA staff and clients with design execution, business development, staff development and strategic decision making for the firm.
Derek is a member of the SEI/CASE Digital Design Committee and a member of Structural Engineers Association of Colorado’s Business Management Committee.
